December 2010 - FoST receives the Science and Technology Promotion Award 2010
Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) awards FoST the Science and Technology Promotion Award 2010. NAST (formerly Royal Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (RONAST) is an autonomous body for doing research, lab test of the scientific and technical matters and recognition of the efforts made by individual and institutions for upliftment of the quality of life of the people.


August 2009 - Kriti Shrestha receives an International Climate Championships Award on August 28th from British Council
Kriti Shrestha received an International Climate Championships Award on August 28th from British Council in a public ceremony in Kathmandu. She received a certificate of Championship from the Country Director, BC with a project funding letter for Stg.Pd.1000. BC has arranged her to participate in South Asia Youth Summit on Climate Change in Dhulikhel from Sept.3 to 6, 2009. Out of 47 candidates nominated from different sectors for the Championships, ten were selected. She was selected by the judges' panel for her presentation on "Mitigating Impacts of Climate Change through Sustainable Technologies".
March 2009 - FoST Awarded the 2009 Special Achievement Award from the Partnership for Clean Indoor Air (PCIA)
FoST is pleased to announce that it has received the 2009 PCIA Special Achievement award. Every two years, the PCIA awards are distributed to the most innovative ideas among it's partner organizations. FoST was selected from 250 organizations to receive one of four awards.
Sanu Kaji traveled to the PCIA Forum in Kampala, Uganda to accept the award and share ideas with other PCIA members.

December, 2007 - FoST Honored in BBC World Challenge 2007
FoST is pleased to announce that it has been recognized as one of two runners up from hundreds of entries in the BBC World Challenge 2007.
The BBC World Challenge is a global competition that seeks out projects and businesses that not only make a profit, but also put something back into the community rewarding individuals or groups that truly make a difference through enterprise and innovation at a grass roots level.
